HOW TO START A RETURN
We want you to love your Shoptela experience and if it’s anything less than perfect, we want to make it right.

Contact us via Email to start your return.
Once we receive your request, we’ll be in touch and provide return instructions and refund options – you’ll need to reply with your preferred refund option.
You’ll need to ship your item(s) to the return address provided, then share the shipment tracking information with us.
That’s it! Once we receive your returned package, we’ll take care of the rest and process your refund as soon as possible.

If you’re not absolutely in love with your Shoptela order, we want to make it as simple as possible. See below for more information on our return policy.
We gladly accept unworn, unwashed items in new condition with Shoptela tags and hygiene liners still attached within 30 days of their delivery date.
- Please note that we don’t accept returns after the 30 day timeframe. If an item is sent back after the 30 day window, we may have to send it back to your default delivery address and ask you to cover the delivery costs.
- Our swimwear comes with a removeable hygiene liner to ensure your safety – return items cannot be accepted if the liner is removed. Please try on your Shoptela items over your underwear without removing the hygiene liner.
- For sanitary reasons, bags, beach blankets & towels, swimming rings and floaties are not eligible for returns or exchanges unless there is a quality issue.
- Remember to take extra care to pack your return package properly so they don’t get damaged on the way – we are not responsible for any returns until they reach our return address. Please also make sure to get proof of postage for reference incase you need to check the status with the carrier before it reaches us.
Common Refund Questions
Is it easy to return items?
Once your return is authorized, you’ll receive step-by-step instructions and a prepaid shipping label via email.
How soon will I get my refund?
Due to COVID-19, we have implemented a 14 day holding period from when a return or exchange is received at our warehouse to ensure the safety of our staff. Once the 14 days is up, we will begin to process those returns in the order they were received. Once your items are inspected by our warehouse staff, you’ll get your refund typically within 48 hours.
What items are returnable?
- Items purchased in the last 30 days.

What items are non-refundable?
- Items marked as final sale.
- Free gifts or promotional items with retail value.
- Components of gift sets, e.g. Quarterly or Top Drawer. Please email us at [email protected] for return instructions.
